Why does my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA netbook turn off when I unplug the power adaptor?
My netbook is only 6 months old and the last few days whenever I unplug the power my computer turns off immediately. I think it started when I put in someone else's usb into my computer. It wouldn't work on their imac so I plugged it in mine and my computer turned off. And now it only works when I have the power adaptor plugged in. My battery is at 100% full. Please help because this is really annoying. The power management scheme is on portable/laptop.

Which should i buy (dell laptop for college)? PLEASE HELP?
i'm really dumb when it comes to certain things about computers.. so
which one is better, they're both the same price...
1. A portable laptop with a big punch - Core i5, 4GB memory and 500GB hard drive included
or
2. Do more for the same everyday low price with Core i3 power, 6GB memory and 640GB storage

Are 13.3" laptops too small for school work?
I want to buy a portable laptop for university. But I'm not sure if 13.3" will be too small or not for doing homework/typing notes etc. Will it cause eye strain? Like is it too small for typing up an essay on microsoft office and doing research on the internet for example?
did you use a 13.3" laptop for school? how was it? would you recommend me get a 15.6" laptop instead even though it will weigh in about 5 pounds? Will the bigger screen be worth the extra weight?

@jason: it's actually not a netbook. it is a laptop, but just 13.3"
the laptops im looking at are ASUS U series. which are 13.3" and under an inch thick. and weight only about 3lbs
